Hacienda Chekul is an exquisite site in scene, space and light that is a victim of the design of renowned architect Salvador Reyes Rios, as many of the old colonial mansions and haciendas in the state of Yucatan and elsewhere in Mexico have been converted into luxury hotels and private homes under his supervision. At Hacienda Chekul an ambitious and admirable job was done, its location is in the middle of the jungle with some interesting things around it like the beach with its crystal blue sea and surrounded by the Capechen lagoon that fishing lovers will surely enjoy and take advantage of.
