The sounds of nature create an atmosphere with a certain mysticism of wildlife amidst the Capechen Lagoon and the beautiful Caribbean Sea of the Sian Ka'an Nature Reserve which can be reached by car or helicopter.

All furniture, boats, appliances and amenities are at your disposal when staying at Hacienda Palancar. Being in a natural reserve, the hacienda is designed to be self-sufficient to enjoy the select comforts of technology, subway cisterns that are fed by rainwater provide drinking water. It took about 8 years between planning and construction of this ambitious and admirable hacienda to meet high-end standards and be friendly to the surrounding flora and fauna.
